Dort was born in Summit, New Jersey. to Dort Clark & Marilyn Sable ; moved to Los Angeles in 1963 and entered the entertainment industry in 1984 , after attending Pierce Theatrical Dept ,he did equity waiver plays till he got his break with the Arthur Co. on a show called " Safe at Home" from there he has done everything from build sets to SPFX , but being a Property Master is still his passion, from the 2 seasons on "The Shield" to 8 seasons of "curb you enthusiasm" and everything in between. Dort enjoys spending time with his 2 daughters. traveling when possible , and still actively working Propping such shows as Lifetime Mow's to "Hells Kitchen" Season 13/14 and is working on FOX"S Masterchef, more to come !!!!
