From an early age, Laurence Hamelin demonstrated great interest in the performing arts which eventually led her to pursue an acting career. After years of working in various French-Canadian television series, Laurence got the part of Sofia in the feature film Moth Diaries, adapted and directed by Mary Harron from Rachel Klein's novel.The young actress has also managed to balance school and work since the very beginning of her career and is now majoring in Linguistics at the University of Montreal.
