Actor Michael Rainey Jr. plays Tariq St. Patrick on Starz network's hit drama series, "Power." Michael plays the son of the lead, Ghost. The show stars, Omari Hardwick, Naturi Naughton and Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson, who also is the shows' producer. Seasons 1-3 2014-2016Michael stars opposite Ice Cube, Cedric The Entertainer and Nick Minaj in the third installment of the comedy franchise Barbershop for Warner Brothers Pictures entitled Barbershop 3: The Next Cut. In the movie, Michael plays the role of 'Jalen,' the teenage son to Ice Cube's character. In 2009, the 9 year old made his way to the big screen in the film that kicked off his acting career entitled, Un Altro Mondo 2010 and directed by Silvio Muccino. Michael played the lead character 'Charlie' alongside Silvio Muccino. Michael, who is American, lived in Italy for some time to prepare for this film and went from speaking only English to speaking fluent Italian for his role.In his spare time, Michael gives back to the community through his involvement in Find and Feed, an organization dedicated to helping the homeless, which is based in Indiana. He also does independent work shopping for the less fortunate during Christmas time, supplying coats for the homeless and feeding them.
