The movie is so-so.
But it's still better than the flop that the diehard fans of the original "T" trilogy designated it to be.
This is a reboot of the original but can also be a standalone movie.
If you're the original "T" fan, detach yourself from any kind of expectations beforehand, treat it as a new sci-fi movie and you're gonna be fine. If you can't watch it without comparing it to the original, don't watch it at all, although nothing rapes the John Connor lore as much as "Terminator: Genisys" did.
Also Mackenzie Davis is great and she did a wonderful job buffing up for the part.
I wish the same could be said about the actress who's playing WonderW.
As a woman myself I really enjoyed Mackenzie's character of a strong, enhanced female who can stand her ground against any kind of opponent.
But I would prefer the Dani character to actually be a man.
And, lladavnoj, the director of this movie is Tim Miller, who is a male not a female.
