Martin has been an actor for over 20 years. As well as his many TV and film roles, he is also an accomplished stage actor having appeared in many classical and contemporary productions. At the age of 29, he came to acting late. However, he feels that his previous careers as a professional heavyweight boxer and international rugby league player thoroughly prepared him for the tough world of acting.
